Billingham Stars have
re-signed forward Jack Davies who will embark on his sixth season at the club
when he heads out onto the ice next month. Starting out with Billingham’s
junior setup, Davies then opted for a move to Hillheads where he iced with both
the Tomahawks and the Braves between 2009 and 2012 before returning to The
Forum. Contributing three goals and four assists in twenty one league games
last season, Davies will look to better his points production to help his side achieve their true potential this coming season.

Meanwhile, Solway
Sharks have confirmed that netminder Calum Hepburn will return for a fourth
consecutive season after fulfilling the role of first choice shot stopper in recent campaigns. Achieving a save percentage of 88.7% in thirty
three league games last season, Hepburn has shown himself to be strong between
the pipes, not least during Solway’s 2016-17 treble-winning campaign. As such,
Hepburn will join fellow shot stopper Jordan McLaughlin in the Sharks’ line-up
when Solway take to the ice next month.
