Whitley Warriors have
announced the re-signing of defenceman Niall Simpson who played his first campaign
for the Hillheads club last season after icing in
the BUIHA for Northumbria Kings’ A and B team as well as local recreational side
Newcastle Predators.
Grabbing his first goal for the Warriors against Blackburn
Hawks last September, and notching an assist later in the season, Simpson began
to develop his game at his hometown club and will look to continue his hard
work into his upcoming campaign which will see him play for Whitley Warriors in the NIHL, besides featuring for Northumbria Kings recreationally, as
the blue liner looks to gain as much ice time as possible over the course of
the season.
