Whitley Warriors have
confirmed the signings of young prospects Ross Douglass and Jamie Ord ahead of
the club’s pre-season schedule. Whilst young forward Douglass made his debut
for the Warriors early in their latest campaign, playing seventeen games in
total besides captaining the Braves and icing with Whitley’s Under 20s team,
sixteen-year-old Ord was introduced to senior ice hockey in the latter stages, scoring a superb goal and assisting another in just three league games. Though both players are set to ice with the Warriors this
season, the duo will also play for the club’s junior teams as they continue
their development in the sport.
